“Dryness Series No.13” was created in the summer of 2025 as part of the Dryness Series. Featuring soft gray-green and white tones, the painting captures a quiet tension—like the air right after a summer downpour.
The raised textures in the center, with their layered brushwork and subtle color shifts, resemble inner landscapes slowly shifting under heat. There’s a stillness, but also the hint of something beginning to stir.
This piece was created alongside “Dryness Series No.15” and serves as its visual counterpart. Both artworks were painted during the same summer period and share a meditative, healing quality. They can be collected as a pair or displayed individually.
